Humanitarian & Victim-Based Adjustment

Under this option individuals facing persecution, human rights violations, or abuse may be eligible for specialized adjustments. The Kaddu Law Firm has made a commitment to advocate for vulnerable individuals, including survivors seeking protection under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and individuals pursuing asylum. Representing clients in both affirmative asylum applications and defensive proceedings in immigration court, providing compassionate, strategic advocacy in cases that often involve complex legal and personal challenges.

Asylees & Refugees: Those granted asylum by USCIS or an Immigration Judge or individuals granted refugee status who have been physically present in the U.S. for at least one year.

VAWA Self-Petitioners: Abused spouses, children, or parents of a U.S. citizen or permanent resident filing for themselves.

Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ): For minors who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected by a parent.

Victims of Crimes or Trafficking: Individuals with T-Visas (human trafficking victims) or U-Visas (victims of qualifying criminal activity).
